A few thoughts:
1. 73 sounds about right based on our performance last Saturday. I believe that we have already moved up a few notches from their pre-season rankings, and I expect us to keep climbing as the year goes along.
2. It is good to see some of the perennial bottom dwellers in the MAC moving out of the bottom 15, that is a good sign. But whats up Flashes? All that hype and they're buried.
3. Read the blurb under Buffalo (#112). Friggin' hilarious.

"The Futility Bowl" I think I might have to use that term more often.

So we're #73, and Kansas State is #70. The ONLY reason KState got their win over I-AA Illinois State is because at the end of the game, ISU scored a TD, and instead of tying it with an extra point, they went for two to win it... and failed. Regardless of how trivial this is, KState deserves to be just about a step above Colorado (#104) for this one. On the other hand, we are from the "MAC Conference" and they're from the Big 12, so they're better.

East coast bias...Duke and UVA shoud be lower. Thank god FSU and Miami looked good, cause the rest of the ACC sucked (except Clemson)

My how Kansas State has fallen. Colorado losing to Montana State was too much. Wow...

FSU & Miami looked good!?
Both of those teams have good defenses, but don't fool yourself. They are both poorly coached offensively and cannot find a QB to save their lives. That game was sloppy, and neither team looked like a world beater to me.
