Turdledo in ESPN Mid-Major Six Pack
Turdledo in ESPN Mid-Major Six Pack
Turdledo debuted in the ESPM Mid-Major Six Pack this week at #6. Kind of makes you ill know how bad they got drilled early in the year.

Wow...they are 4-0 against teams that are a combined 5-18 and they allowed 24 points a game to them.
Without a doubt they are better than BG, NIU and Marshall...NOT!!
Just more evidence that these people just take a look at standings and recent history and put no effort into looking at anything else.

While it ticks me off that they are the ones getting attention... I'll allow them to gain a false sense of security untill we rock em. If they're mediocre success continues, then hopefully one of the espn's picks up the bg @ ut game, so the world can see how pathetically futile they are...

Right, BG @ UT is on ESPN or ESPN2, one or the other. As far as games getting picked up, like the Ohio @ Toledo game this week, BG's only got itself to blame after losing to NIU. If we would have beated NIU, we'd be 4-1, 2-0 with our only loss to Oklahoma. Instead, we'll be chasing the MAC West leaders all season long and may not catch them. That's why I always say, our biggest games are in the MAC. This is just another example why.
GO BG!!!

CFN's rankings can be a bit crazy sometimes too. They have Toledo, Marshall, AND NIU being ranked higher than we are. To be honest, the only team in the MAC that deserves to be ranked higher than we are is NIU.Warthog wrote:According to collegefootballnews.com, the four teams UT beat are ranked 103, 109, 110, and 111. UT should be in the Bottom 10 for giving up 24 points a game to these pathetic teams.

Come on guys...You have to take the rose-colored (or in this case, orange-colored) glasses off...Our wins over 103, 108 & a I-AA school aren't exactly going to set the world on fire...FalconKing wrote:CFN's rankings can be a bit crazy sometimes too. If you want to play that game:
Toledo beat 103, 109, 110, & 111
Marshall beat 72 & 73
NIU beat 64, 105, 117 & I-AA team
When you consider that, the only possible difference would be to flip Marshall and Toledo...
But that being said, I don't think Toledo deserve a spot in the six-pack.

I wasn't lobbying for us to be in the six-pack. I am well aware that the teams we beat are not that good either. I just think that ESPN is overlooking the fact that UT got waxed by two decent teams, then played four awful teams and did the waxing. While UT may eventually deserve a spot on that ranking, I think it is premature to give them these accolades given the quality of their opponents.MotownFalcon wrote:Come on guys...You have to take the rose-colored (or in this case, orange-colored) glasses off...Our wins over 103, 108 & a I-AA school aren't exactly going to set the world on fire...FalconKing wrote:CFN's rankings can be a bit crazy sometimes too. I was just questioning the one about NIU should be the only team ranked ahead of us. I agree with you 100%, neither BG nor UT should be in the six-pack (or anyone else from the MAC for that matter).Warthog wrote: I wasn't lobbying for us to be in the six-pack.
