One positive from yesterday....

Post by Rightupinthere »

It resulted in some of the finest and liveliest discussions on this board.

There has been disagreement and some heated at times; however, decency in dialog has reigned.

Thank you, folks. It's be a great read today.

A fine point. People are using facts and reasons to back up their opinions.

4th & 13 on PU 32yd line.. 56,000 fans up on their feet screaming, i held my breath the entire play trying to make as little noise as possible.. wouldnt u know Sharon would make the biggest touchdown catch in the history of BG Football, FALCON UP!

Agree 100%.....I got home late this morning and read through most of the threads. Great discussion from both sides on almost all arguments and no name-calling. The "game thoughts" thread was well worth the 30 minutes that it took to read the entire thing.

I think the new nets should have Allstate's splash substituted with RUIP's avatar.

Another positive from yesterday too was - we won. Even though it doesn't seem to feel that way at times.

I agree!! I was dreading going on the board tonight for fear of the tons of negative posts I would find. I was pleasantly surprised to see that people voiced their opinions very well and with decency. Good job fans!!!! THAT is why this is the BEST fan board EVER!!!
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

I have been posting lots of negative things, but I have backed it up pretty well. I have to say as upset as I am about the game, the morale here has remained realistic and relatively high. Forward Falcons!
