The bad part is that the writer thinks we are Div. I-AA.

He's probably thinking of MAAC, in which case he would've been right. But since we are the Mid American Conference, not the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference, he's wrong obviously. Man I hate it when people screw that up!!

And what bugs the heck outta me is that I can't find an email address to send him a correction.

John Murphy
John Murphy started his own company – Next Level Scouting, Inc. – in 1999 and quickly became a familiar face in scouting circles with his detailed reports and information to all 32 NFL teams. He previously worked as a U.S. college and pro scout for the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League, and he has served on the selection committee for the East-West Shrine Game.
Dissappointing considering the guy was a shrine game selection committee member. His credentials would show he should know better. Any NFL scout knows about the MAC because of the run of QBs we have had, but even before that there have been guys who have sustained higher-than-average NFL careers from our conference.

Mr. Murphy,

Really enjoy your articles on Yahoo Sports! I was reading your latest article, linked at (http://sports.yahoo.com/ncaaf/news;_ylt ... &type=lgns) and I wanted to point out one correction.

Bowling Green State University is a Division I-A school, not a I-AA as listed in your article. We are a member of the Mid-American Conference (MAC), which is all Division I-A schools.

If you'd like to learn more about BGSU, you can visit the official athletic site at http://www.bgsufalcons.com or the fan board at http://www.ay-ziggy-zoomba.com. We've discussed your article on our board and if you could make a correction, we'd appreciate it.

Thanks in advance, and keep up the good work!

Even more disappointing when a picture of OMAR JACOBS rolls across his website.

it is on the end of the article about how the hurricane destroyed his house...

Kinda feel guilty about complaining....but not guilty enough to NOT write.

Got a response today...
I corrected them earlier today, as I guess they thought both of the first two teams were IAA, but I look forward to writing about Parks in the future as he continues to show some good NFL potential.

JM
Guess those are some good things about Parks!
