I'm looking forward to my first AZZ tailgate this Saturday and getting to meet some of you. I have a couple of questions:
-- I know you usually meet over by the hill. What time will people be out there for a 4:00 start?
-- What time do most of you start heading for the game?
I expect that a lot of the band alums will be playing, will any of you be at the tailgate.
Lady Byron and Princess Byron (age 5) will be joining me. I hope to introduce her to the Freaklings, make some wedding plans for 2025, and discuss dowry with their father.
I'm usually not this anal, but I'm excited.

I've decided not to march this year. May start doing it every other year, so my wife and I will be there tailgating. Probably around 1 or so. I'll assume many will start before us.

If it isn't raining, Pam, Flipperella and I will probably swing by around 2ish.
I'll make sure Pam brings that spiffy Rockettes chairback of her's...

Grant,
I don't blame you for alternate year marching...As we grow OLDER, it gets harder to do, right?

Prolly be there around 10:00ish I would think. You've gotta give yourself at least a good 6 hours before kickoff

I generally head into the game to get there right at kickoff. Most others start to filter out of the tailgate area around an hour pregame or so.
Make sure you stop on by and see everyone!

A guy I know is bringing a big cooker and will be cooking something like 60 pounds of ribs, I believe. I will have the deep fryer out there with a tentative menu of pizza rolls and possibly some fried mushrooms or onion rings. You haven't tailgated until you've had deep fried pizza rolls!
Of course we'll likely have the TV to watch the early games and the playstation to keep us occupied until those games start. Here's hoping for some decent weather to get a good, rowdy tailgate crowd.

Life is good when food is deep fried.
Since I'm arriving in BG on Friday, I'll bring some chips or something and Lady Byron is baking some cookies.
I'll be walking over from the hotel, so I may need to borrow some cooler space from someone for my beer.
Thanks for the info.

Me, the wife and the three little warthogs have some friends coming to the game with us. They wanted to know what time to come, so the wife and I were discussing this. I said have them skip lunch and get here by 1. She looked at me like I had two heads.

She sees no reason to get there more than 2 hours before the game. She just doesn't understand the whole tailgate thing.

I'm looking to arrive in BG around noon. I'm not to particular about parking, so I'll park where ever I find room. I'll have both BG and UK flags on the car, so look for me, the wife, and daughter (if weather permits). I'll try to find others too, since I don't believe I have ever met anyone on AZZ in person. I'm not sure what I'm going to do about food yet, thinking brauts maybe and of course plenty of beer.

Deep fried food & beer makes for the perfect combination before watching a football game
We will likely have a couple coolers, so probably have some extra room in one of 'em at least.

Myself and my boyfriend (4th Row) might come out and meet some of you all before the game as well. If we roll over, we just bought some pizza rolls! It sounds like a lot of fun! I have to teach at the REC at noon...but hopefully we'll be there!!!
