It's been posted on here it was a wrist injury in one post and a shoulder/upper arm injury in another post. No word on which one for sure or more importantly, how serious.

No word on how serious but after the game coach side it was his left shoulder. Something that it popped but he made it sound like it was no big deal and brushed it off.

Thanks for the info, and that would be GREAT news if it wasn't serious. The last thing we need is another shoulder injury to our starting QB.....we had that last year!!!

What was up with Macon only carrying the ball a few times? Or did I miss something.

I wondered that, too. 4 carries for Macon.

Why give it to the fastest guy on the team when we can run QB sweeps all day?

Hey, now. Stud's play book is just like one of those romance novels. It just falls open to "certain sections" no matter how many times you flip the page.
Must be why the pages are stuck together.

That sucks.....any idea on a recovery timeline? Is this basically the same injury that Omar had last year?

Do we know what grade yet? Probably have to wait until a MRI on Monday to know specifics.

It's his non-throwing shoulder, so likely not quite as long as Omar, but like was said, it all depends how severe.

Omar's was his non throwing shoulder too, wasn't it?

Yes, it was Flipper.
I was afraid something like this might happen. Turner is not large enough to take this pounding like Harris could, and even he was banged up a bit during his junior season. We're gonna get our QBs killed running them constantly.
J4H, I don't even care about Macon's speed anymore. What I saw in the first two games is the guy is lacking in vision/instincts. Everytime he gets the ball he just sprints for the sideline in the hope that he'll be able to turn it up field. I've been very disappointed in his play so far, I expected more.
If AT were healthy I would want him at QB & Barnes starting at RB.

I like that setup as well, hammb. I thought AT looked pretty good throwing the ball last night but love FB as a runner.
I'm glad we won, of course, but am getting a bit frustrated with the play calling. Open it up. It was great to see us come out throwing last night.
BEAT KENT STATE!!!!
