I saw a little blurb this morning that I meant to post. Apparently Redd signed with the BC Lions to play on their practice squad.
Also does anyone know if Janssen is still playing in the CFL?

Here's an excerpt from an article I saw.

Todd Mortensen (Patriots), receivers Carl Ford (Eagles), Robert Redd (Falcons) and defensive back James Bethea (Redskins), all accepted invitations to the mini-camp.
They're here for a short time, not a good time. With the CFL allowing teams to expand their developmental rosters from six to 12 imports for a month-long period ending Oct. 11, the Lions are giving the NFL refugees a quick once-over to see if any bear further scrutiny, a contract or an invite to training camp next season.
All have return tickets to their hometowns on outbound flights Saturday, which doesn't leave much time to leave an impression, especially when the weather isn't cooperating.
"Our job is to make them rip up that return ticket," says Redd, who might be the most intriguing of the quintet. Cut by the Falcons just before their season opener against Carolina, he can play receiver, cornerback and run back kicks and punts. He played on either side of the ball last year with the Berlin Thunder of NFL Europe, and he can throw a football with equal facility from either hand.
"My agent let me know that this was a good situation to come in to because I might get a good look at being a kick returner," says Redd, the all-time leading receiver at Bowling Green University.
