What has happened to BG football? Seriously. I saw the score of the game and swore they had to of had the scores flipped around or something. You mean to tell me that Kent State needed just one play – one play – to score enough points to beat you for an entire game?! On their very first play, Kent State scored more points than you did for the entire game? On your own home field? You have got to be kidding me. I've got to admit, you guys have had a pretty good team and program over the years, but you aren't a shell of those teams anymore. No one fears or is afraid of BG anymore and you just might have the worst team in the MAC this year. Teams have just been walking into your stadium and taking wins nowadays. I wouldn't want to play Temple right now if I was BG. It's like you guys have no idea what a pass is anymore after torching teams with it. Anyway, we are going to crush BG next week and I can’t wait. We beat NIU on the road, BG should have lost to Buffalo and got crushed by Kent State, both at home. For those of you thinking about coming down, you should just stay at home, you'll thank me later.

Thanks! I needed to read that!! Perhaps you should find the email addresses of our football captains and email them what you think since they are bad, REALLY BAD.

I'm still going to go anyway, if for no other reason than I haven't been in Athens since Paddy's Day 1966.

Wow, OB, thank God you said something! Whew...... that was a close one..... I'm glad you noticed the lack of "losing to Kent is terrible" threads, and started one for us!

Tek's glad OBC is back. It might take some of the heat off of him...

Sometimes, the truth hurts. This is one of those times.

Before you cast stones one who is bad I would take a look at your own team too. In four games they have broken 200 yards of offense only once. We know we're bad but OU doesn't look too hot either.

While I agree with this, Hammb said it best. OhioBobcat is right on with this one. The one question I always ask is, I wonder what Urban Meyer is thinking right now. In the MAC, you don't get many chances, as a program, to be where this one was.
And clearly, this program has blown the chance they did have. When will the next one come?
Could be a looooong while, it seems.

A couple of great players can turn a team around faster than the greatest coach. Guys like Josh Harris, P.J. Pope, Cole Magner and Charles Sharon were as much, if not more responsible for BG's recent good fortune than any person wearing a hat on the sidelines. That is what we need. We may have a few out of this young group of players. I'm certainly optimistic about a few of them yet!

I don't mind the heat...after all I am STILL right OSU 4-0 BG 2-2 with loss to Kent. Only one i have wrong so far was UB and BG was lucky on that one.

Don't either of you have anything better to do with your seemingly boring and lackluster lives than to post on internet message boards to berate your opponents teams (ones that I might add that aren't even rivals) time after time? Yes, OBC we're not too good this year, but then again, you're not the cream of the crop either down there in Ohio. And tekekni, is it a promise that you won't be coming back anymore after we face Ohio State?

No luck involved there, Tek. We hung in through 3 OTs and won the game.

Poor Miami...I guess we can't complain too much. Hopefully you guys can step it up for the remainder of the year...or at least until you guys come to the Doyt.
