I have thought about this statement for 10 minutes and still have no idea what it is supposed to mean. I want that 10 minutes back.

Hire Paul Petrino.

I like Jerry Kill. Anybody with that last name ought to be able to impose their will upon a team.

Any of those names with the possible exception of Bradley (waiting on JoePa) and Kill (waiting on a Big 10/12 gig) would jump at the BG job.

If the snippy remark was meant to convey the impossibility of changing coaches, might I remind you of the Perfect Storm atmosphere for a head coaching change (New AD, arguably worst loss in program history, downward trend, et, all) that is fermenting over the NW Ohio atmosophere, documented in a gazillion threads besides this one?

We don't pay enough to lure a BCS school coordinator...it would be too big of a pay cut. We're more likely to hire a position coach as that's more in line with our limited budget.

Of course, such talk now is extremely premature. The man has won some ballgames here and should be given a chance to fix things.

Look, I know losing to Kent at home by a lot is a tough loss to take. But the worst in program history? Yikes.

Hire Paul Petrino.
He's made a statement which is an intentional attempt to wind people up. He knows It's completely and utterly ridiculous.
