What is our Final record
I am going to go out on a limb and say it is unlikely that we beat OSU. So we go into the final 6 games on our schedule 3-3. Do we still have a chance at a MAC Championsip? Can we get a bowl bid regardless? You vote???
Eastern Michigan 0-4
@ Central Michigan 2-2
@ Temple 0-4
@ Akron 2-3
Miami 0-4
@ Toledo 2-4

One game at a time.
As soon as the clock hit triple zeroes we became 0-0.

I think the odds of us winning out the rest of the MAC schedule are small, but it looks like that's what we would need to do to overtake Kent (how the hell did Kent turn into such a good team after losing to Minnesota at home 44-0 and then losing to Army who in turn got drilled by Rice today???)
However, I think we have a decent shot at that 3rd MAC bowl bid. If we manage an 8-4 record, I think our resume would be as least as good as the 2nd-place team from the MAC West.

Answer: The MAC is a terrible conference top to bottom this year. All 4 traditional powers are way down.

I am pretty sure they have added a ton of bowls yet again and at 7-5 we may get a bid no matter what. Wasnt there a recent year where Akron was the only team elgible not invited to a bowl?
x-after a little research there will be 64 spots for teams to go to bowls.

64/119
If we can just beat the teams who have yet to win a game yet on our schedule we may go bowling.
They did change the rule so that 6-6 teams can go now right?

With the exception of this coming weekend, I can see us winning any one of the remaining games and I could see us lossing any of the remaining games on our schedule. Such is life with a young football team. We knew this was going to be roller coaster.

We are NOT losing to EMU or Temple. Those teams are so bad that I think a loss is pretty much out of the question, unless, in the case of EMU, we really are jinxed at home.

It's impossible to predict a team as young and schizophrenic as this one. Add in queasy special teams play, and questionable coaching, and anything can happen in any game we play.
Yes, that includes Temple and EMU.

I think we'll go 7-5, but that won't be good enough to win the East because we would need to have Kent have one more loss than us.
However, that might be good enough for 3rd conference invite or maybe even the second since last year Toledo got the other conference invite (they attended GMAC) and NIU who won the West stayed home. However, if the loss is to Akron, then we're through by thanksgiving....again.
Akron was the only bowl eligible team 2 years ago not to go.

I can see anything from 5-7 to 8-4, at the most. As someone else said, the ups and downs of a young team are tought to gauge.
And like DD said, one game at a time.

You misspelled "every".
