Getting the Swagger Back

I'm sure alot of us remember no more than 3-4 years ago and the swagger that we had. We knew we were good, and we walked the walk. Something which has been missing since the Akron game last year is that swagger. When I see our team emerge from a tunnel now, it's more of a "play not to lose" attitude while teams in the past played to obliterate their opponent.

Everytime I see BG take the field, I want them to walk like they're going to win that game. I want confidence out their ass and when someone says "You go to BG?" you get the smile and proudly claim your allegiance.

If we keep the current team together I think we can be scary good. Like Utah in the year they challenged good. The only problem I foresee is that the offensive line will all need replaced next year. Hopefully we can get some underclassmen some time there.

It seems to me we've stockpiled a ton of lineman. Now all we need is to get a few of the herd to step up and produce when the current guys move on.

What a difference a week makes. Last week many were saying our team is horrible and will be horrible for years to come. Same people were saying that our freshmen stunk and there is no reason to believe they will be any better in the future.

I think we're top 3 in the MAC in terms of talent + potential. I'm just of the opinion that we'll have a hard time reaching that potential due to poor coaching.

Lineman need time to work together. As best as I can tell watson will take over at one of the guard spots next year with ? taking over at the other. That means Atleast 4 senior blocks of granite making a great line next year, with all 4 graduating. I have no doubt we have talent along that line. i do doubt that any line with atleast 4 new starters can play well together.

In my opinion the playcalling, STs and game management need improved more than any player.

Recrutiing has been great recently. However, we had One OL recruit last year

I am just praying our guys dont get physically hurt this week, against an Ohio State that is playing the best football i have ever seen them play. I hate Ohio state, but right now they are perfection.

Which is why I think we only play back-ups this Saturday. I could careless if we get embarassed against OSU.

I don't want to see Turner run a single designed QB run. I know I'm going to see it, and I have a bad feeling he is going to get hurt.
