I don't see the game listed as of today. I checked StubHub and eBay and tickets are still going for outrageous prices. This OSU #1 hype is really pushing prices up. Anyone know about TV for the game?

I hope it isn't on tv, with the beating that the Bucks are going to lay on us, it would be to much to watch it. I just hope our players are not injured. We don't have the talent or depth to compete this coming week :!:

Well, the odds are very long, but they were also very long in 1986 when Miami traveled down to Baton Rouge and beat No. 6 Louisiana State.

The two big questions for us seem to be:

1. Can we run the ball on Ohio State? It's scary to think that's what we have to do. But running is what we do best. It is how we win games. I'm heartened by the fact that other teams seem to have had varying degrees of success here. Iowa broke off a few good ones last night.

2. Can our defense slow down Ohio State? The way they opened up on Northern Illinois scares the hell out of me. But, again, I'm heartened by the fact that our defense seems to be doing a few things right. Yesterday afternoon, they were downright impressive against a decent Ohio team.

I said it in another thread and I'll say it here: There is no reason for us to be playing our starters more than a quarter.

Actually the reason that ticket prices are so high is because all the members of TBDBITL got two tickets to give to their family or whatever and they are all putting them on Ebay. So yeah i more then likely won't be there.

Hopefully the game is on tv...i imagine it will be.

BG@OSU on ESPN Gameplan at 3:30.

As for tickets, scalpers are getting a premium. Even the UNI game tickets went for over $100 each. However, if you don't want to get screwed, go to the stadium and go to the North end by the Jesse Owens Memorial. Actual tickeholders are selling their tickets their. Most of them just want face value or are willing to take whatever you offer.

Also, regardless of how you buy tickets, don't buy from faculty/staff or students unless they are upgraded tickets. Otherwise, you will not be admitted because you will need a legit OSU ID. Those that own the faculty/staff and student tickets can upgrade them up to the day before the game.

GO FALCONS!

And check local listings. We've got to assume this game will be over the air in just about every Ohio market.

Yup. It'll most likely be blacked out locally on Gameplan as it's a lock for local ABC stations to pick it up.

I will be making the trip up to Ohio Stadium. I just hope we can be competitive like last time.

Um, looking at the schedule on tivo.com, it looks like WUAB out of Cleveland has it, but all the Toledo stations are showing national games. NBC has the ND game, ABC has Oklahoma-Texas, CBS has an SEC game, and Fox36 is showing "24", then the baseball playoffs.

The 3:30 kick might have hurt BG as far as local TV goes.

I cannot ever remember NOT having an OSU game on either local or national TV in the BG area. I find it hard to believe that this game would be the first.

I think I heard somewhere that it was going to be on ABC.

I dare any ABC affiliate in Ohio to NOT carry an OSU game. The ratings on WEWS here in Cleveland have been through the roof. Roger Brown had it in one of columns this week in the PD. You've got the number one team in the country...why would you turn that down if your an ABC affiliate?
