I figured it's about that time to get those predictions out for this saturday.

I'll throw my own in the mix first.

BGSU
14

OSU
42

I believe the spread is at 34.5 right now, so we cover.

OSU-31
BGSU-17.
Closer than the experts think. BG just has to take care of the ball. Teams all year have moved the ball on the Buckeyes but have turned it over. I think BG's run O keeps the game close and limits Ohio States offensive possessions. Call me crazy or just wishful thinking but I think this could be a good one.

34.5 is a huge spread for a Tressel-led team.

I'll go with 38-14.

What? Have you not heard? We don't belong on the same field as THE Ohio State University.

FINAL
OSU: 7,000
BGSU: -70

The results of this game lead to the NCAA disbanding all non-BCS football. All D-I mid-majors, D-IAA, D-II and D-III are mandated to eliminate their football programs. In Ohio, the legislature changes all state schools to branch campuses of Ohio State. The state also institutes mandatory OSU fandom become a part of standard curriculum; no Ohioan can receive a high school diploma without singing the Ohio State alma mater by memory. Soon, schools like BGSU will be but a fading memory, like eight-track tapes, high-button shoes and Five Iron Frenzy.

Ohio State 28
Bowling Green 17

Tressel won't run it up on an in-state school. Ohio State will have an emotional letdown after three huge games over the last four weeks, and BG's kids will play fired up.

Is that Antonio Smith that plays for BG or A&M?

OSU 45
BG 10

We just miss beating the spread when Tressel orders a 52 yard field goal attempt on the last play of the game. The NCAA finally decides to check into Tressel's Youngstown connections and the mysterious ability of Ohio State to somehow cover the spread every week.

Speaking of alma mater's. The BGSU alma mater gives me goosebumps everytime I listen to it.

I really enjoy the Multimedia page. I took a look at the college gameday clip from '02 yesterday.

Thank you for being generous with your pick. I think that OSU will take this one at a score of...

OSU 38
BGSU 17

Halftime:
OSU 21
BGSU 15

OSU goes into half time frustrated as Rojas' booming punts pin OSU deep in Buckeye territory, and Big Bird pounds in 50yd+ field goals to keep the Falcons in contention at 21-15. Tressel, appalled at his team's disastrous third down conversion rate unfortunately leaves his headphone mic on, and in a bizarre and mysterious twist broadcasts his explicit and vitriolic "team talk" to a hushed Buckeye stadium, muting the buckeye band.

Next, a notorious AZZ troll sparks a fan riot after surrendering to his demons, sheds his clothes, and streaks across the gridiron with a banner reading "I hate AZZ mods" on one side and "diplomas are 4 burnin!" on the other.

State troopers, most of whom are downtown processing an orange tide of Falcon fans for open container, jaywalking, and other minor public order offences, struggle to contain the riot in the 'Shoe, the stadium is evacuated, and the game is awarded to BGSU by default.

On a positive note, all Falcon fans are released by Columbus Police after determining that the offending beverages, allegedly home brewed sloe gin, are not alcoholic in the slightest.

Bowling Green - 28
Ohio State - 24
Ditka - 14

Ditka, of course, plays the role of Ross Perot in this contest.

I made mine on the podcast... but I'll repeat it here. Orange-colored glasses on, and Kool-Ade sipped...

On a last-second 2-point conversion...
BG - 22
OSU - 21
