A lot of similarities between 2001 and 2006.

I loved that team. Khary Campbell and company were badass.

Did you watch the highlight film? I'll give you one. Three quarterbacks played that year. Andy started at QB and then Josh got a few starts. Even Magner played some QB and was switched to receiver. The defense isn't as dominating but last Saturday's performance looked pretty close. This team is getting better with 15 freshmen playing. I guess it's just easier to be negative.

We won't really know if they're getting better for a few more weeks. Ohio was the first time this year they looked better than the previous week. Maybe it's the beginning of a trend, or maybe it's an anomaly. I sure hope it's a trend and these guys live up to the substantial recruiting hype.

I've seen the highlight film 20 times. I saw us beat a Big XII team on the road in it, beat a Big 10 team on the road, and saw how we finish 8-3. I've yet to see us lose at home by 35 points.

Maybe its easier to actually look at what is happening.

That was so much fun to watch! Someone needs to post the highlight films from 02-now!
4th & 13 on PU 32yd line.. 56,000 fans up on their feet screaming, i held my breath the entire play trying to make as little noise as possible.. wouldnt u know Sharon would make the biggest touchdown catch in the history of BG Football, FALCON UP!

I just watched it last night as well.
I wasn't even here and really had no concept of BG football at the time, but damn did that get my blood pumping.

I won't say it reminded me of this year, but seeing the multi-QB attack working so well did give me some hope. I think the coaches need to go back and watch some of this game film and take some notes. Done right, I could see the multi-QB attack being very effective against the rest of our competition this year.
