Top Brandon Quote....

Post by Columbus_Zak »

Today on the news Coach Brandon was on...."We're just going to hit the guys in red, or whatever their colors are." Top pschological move, getting in their heads, I loved it.

I know Coach gets torched for some of the things he says, but when he lets loose with something like this, well, I just love it.

I know we have all been down on Coach for some of our past performances, but I still think he's good for us. I just think we need to get some fundamentals down, continue to build a more consistent D and get ST back on track. I think these are some adjustments that need to be made, rather then major overhauls...Well, STs may need an overhaul...That's been a problem area for quite some time now...

That quote is up there with:

the use of the expression "War Daddies"
and
"Devon Parks was 'Full Metal Jacket' today"

Agree his is a good coach and good for us. He does need to work on some keyareas and this team is growing and young. One area is the dropig of our punt formation...sadly that will raise its head again this week for sure.

So wait, we're three days away from the game and our coach doesn't even know what color jersey the other team wears!!?!? Hasn't he been watching film? Unbelievable!!!

Proves what I've been saying all along...We're so good it doesn't matter who we play. Well as long as Freddie Barnes is starting at QB.

Great to hear coach say this, can't play with fear or be tentative in this game, we essentially have nothing to lose (obviously injuries happen, but you know what I mean). Get out there, play hard, aggressive and leave it all on the field!

I really love fans. Amazing what a single victory will do for a coach. Just 12 short days ago after the Kent debacle people here were ready to run him out of town on a rail. Now we like a quote and we line up behind him like he is Ghandi.

TG, it could be just that he doesn't know what uniform they might wear. Granted, it's either white or red, but still. I have enough faith in Brandon to know that he most likely has been watching tape. (I just hope that he's been watching our own tapes as well!! )

There's very little Brandon could do at this point to win me back, and W/L record has very little to do with it.

But it's still a cool quote.

We can tell you don't like Brandon by your signature. You don't have to announce it in every post you make that you have lost faith in him. Just say cool quote and move on.
