“He’s been a little overwhelmed academically his entire career here,” the coach said. “He sees a chance to maybe get his degree and he wants to focus on academics.
“When push comes to shove, academics are more important,” he added. “I want to see the kid graduate and that’s more important than playing football.”

Troy Smith graduated in June. I believe at least 4 starters already have their degrees--Smith, Doug Datish (center), Brandon Mitchell (db), and Stan White (fb).
White and Anthony Gonzalez both hope to be Rhodes Scholars.

I can see Brandon actually saying that. So the trick to the trick question was that it wasnt' a trick.
