CMU beats UT 42-21.....

Man the Glass Bowl mystique is slowly eroding maybe. CMU pounced all over UT with several TO's. I don't know maybe we have a decent shot at beating UT at the Glass Bowl this time. UT now 0-2 in the MAC. I have a hard time seeing us beating CMU at their place. We must though kill EMU next week.

There was no slow erosion tonight. The Glass Bowl looked like Sebo after a mason's strike. It was not pretty. Drive after drive stopped by personal fouls.
Don't want to get all "MSURadioGuy" about it but I feel close to that right now. this is not a UT team like those of the last few years.

CMU's frosh QB was amazing. The MAC will be a lot of fun in a couple years-Opelt, LeFavour, Davis and Barnes/Turner all as upperclassmen QBs with a couple or three years of starting experince behind them...

I think that nickname was retired when Mikie T. from NIU went to the pros. God knows you don't want to get G-Force posting on YOUR board

Yeah, but can Mikie T "burn" like our AT can?? And does he have two-heads like the Freddie/AT combination?

I think not.

If you check the security footage, Turner's got the whole "Burner" thing down.

I kid AT, I love ya.

Would the real Toledo please stand up? I thought this game was going to be closer. I didn't really have a winner in my mind. UT is really playing down this year.

I agree that the MAC is going to be very enjoyable in another couple of years. I argue that's it's fun every year, but that's just me donning my Red Green glasses.

"Barne Burner?"

Or, as Chris Berman would probably say, Freddie Barnes "Burner" and Anthony "Head" Turner.
