Temple visits Rutgers ... oooh, there's a matchup sure to be played in front of empyt seats, right? I mean, two of the worst programs in recent D-I history? No one shows, right? I mean, the weather's awful and the teams are even worse, right?
Yeah, right. They only drew 31,021
And we wonder why Brandon's upset?

I believe the weather and the timing of some other college game had something to do with our pitiful attendance.
Those are large obsticals. As have said in the past that we have to culturalize people into the belief that BG athletics is top notch. With that other school within the state being on the brink of collapse this year, this very well may be the year to change some minds and hearts.
Again, big task. If we broaden our rabid fan base, then the weather will have less of an impact on attendendance figures.

Two Big Differences...

I think two major differences are:
and
I may get beat up about this, but the Doyt = a High School Stadium on Steroids. Going to each of these 2 stadiums, I would think, is an experience. The Doyt, not so much...I'm not saying that we need a a multi-million dollar stadium, because we should have fans that care and come out no matter what. But a nice facility, with good concessions, and a great atmosphere becomes an must-not-miss event. But just ask the Tigers and the Pirates...If you build it, they may not come... So long story short, I don't know how or if you can change the attendance issues.
