Looks like he's been bothered by an ankle thing

he is our best receiver even with the ankle problem.

I agree.
I disagree, Freddie Barnes is a special player. He has that "it" factor. Partridge is just a good player.

Corey is the better receiver right now. Freddie is an all round better player and could easily be the better receiver shortly. They are both about equally important to our success.

Not when he's limping after every play.

Barnes is a better athlete, but Partridge is the better pure receiver by far right now. In 10 months, I'm not sure we'll be able to say that.

Partridge making an amazing one-handed catch against OSU doesn't constitute an "it" factor? Barnes hasn't made SC's top 10 yet this year. I love Freddie, but he's still very new to playing receiver. He'll do nothing but get better, and I think he'll be a marquee player sooner rather than later.

Barnes has been fightin the ankle injury the past few games, it doesnt seem to be holdin him down at all....Freddie is an amazing athlete but when it comes to the best receiver I would have to give it to Corey hands down right now.......That may change.......

I'd say that's more ridiculous than saying NC has better high school football than Ohio.

if you based that ont he number of HS and number of good programs I would agree that NC has better HS football. Ohio has far more programs and our best ones are better than best in NC but we would loose in the middle and bottom, better overal in NC, when based on the total number of programs.
I would have to say that in the top ten states for HS football, Ohio would be about a solid 3 or 4 at the lowest.

you do realize independence high school in charlotte where chris leak, mohommad masaqquio, and joe cox went have the longest winning streak in the nation and are usually ranked ahead of all high school football teams.

Not worthy of discussion. I am just very happy that we have both Freddie and Corey on the field together. They seem to be a great combination (see video posted elsewhere on this board). Go Falcons!

You do realize that Ohio is universally thought to be far better than NC in terms of High School football talent?

universally throughout the midwest, look at florida, florida st. miami, virginia, clemson, wake forest, and south carolina rosters

I agree Barnes is a special athlete. I was saying CP is the better WR. And he throws a nice pass. And he returns punts pretty well. Hmmmm....

I love 'em both and they're gonna be making BiG plays for the Falcons for a few more years. :partyman:

And as far as NC having better HS football teams and talent than Ohio? Please...that isn't remotely close to a worthy discussion. I'm not dissing the talent and teams in NC. Ohio is just far superior.

GO FALCONS!!!
