Some stats about Temple....

While I certainly don't want to see Temple end their losing streak by beating BG, I gotta feel for the Owls. They average 55 yards rushing a game, 160 yards passing a game and 215 total offense. They've been outcored 210-20 in the first half this season...and 351-71 in 8 games. Ouch. This is a extremely young team with a 1st year head coach.
This is a game BG is expected to win....Temple gives up an average of 230 yards a game on the ground while BG averages 186 rushing per game. We *should* be able to run the ball effectively.
I think our defense has been playing better each week...with a few exceptions like big plays. But overall, I love the intensity.
The O needs to jel...this is game # 9 and AT needs to lead the O up and down the field and put points on the board.
GO FALCONS!!!!

How did Kent only beat them by 11? But then again how did Minnesota beat them by a 44-0 score? How is Kent undefeated in the MAC again?

My recollection is that Kent had several turnovers in the red zone.

GW = 17 rushes, 45 yards. Take nothing for granted.

And Kent lost to Army in one of the worst-played games I've ever seen.
Kent is not a good football team.
The teams that Kent has beaten are even worse than Kent.

Bingo -- the MAC blows. The 4 traditional powers have fallen off BIG TIME, and the rest of the conference has not improved anywhere near as much as their fans would like to believe.

Couldn't have said it better myself. The MAC is truly, truly awful this season. There is not one team that is among the top 60-70 of college football.
