I wonder what it'll say about Temple this coming week. Oh dear, how bad was it -- I'm glad I'm stuck in bed with a bad cold and totally missed the game.

I wonder what it'll say about Bowling Green this coming week. By no means do I think we are the worst team in college football, but I certainly think we will top that particular list this week.

Bottom 10? BG is going to fall lower than that, all the way to I-AA. Losing to Temple and not cutting it in attedance, you're clearing a big path right down the tubes.

Can you imagine Ohio State "only" beating one of the bottom teams in the nation 35-7 and only leading 21-7 going into the 4thqt? Come on people it was one game we can still win the MAC East for God's sake.

Yeah because OSU didn't go easy on us.

We're not going the way of I-AA but you do have a win over that I-AA powerhouse Tennessee-Martin.

That'll just make it that much more embarassing for you guys when we beat you every year.

Yeah and OSU "let" us have 350 total yards against them, too!

And that got us how many points?

We gained a bunch of yards against Temple too. Where did that get us?

But, valid point.

If Toledo doesn't make Bottom 10 for losing to previously winless EMU, then I don't know if we automatically make the list. . . We'll see on Wednesday.

It didn't get us a win but my point is that they weren't taking it easy on us.
We drove the ball on them a heck of a lot better than both Indiana and Minnesota did. Before this loss to Temple we weren't anywhere near the bottom 10. I hope we win out and win the MAC East and see where they would rank us then. If we would have beaten Ohio State and Wisconsin but lost to Temple would we be in the bottom 10?

No, no, no. Here's what's going to happen. In the ESPN Bottom Ten, 9 of the 10 spots are reserved for the worst teams in college football. Since we have 4 wins, there's no way in heck that we will end up in one of these 9 spots. However, one of the spots, the #5 spot, is usually reserved to humiliate a good program that suffered a really bad loss during that particular week. It's possible that we could end up in that #5 spot because of our loss to Temple. However, such a move would not be permanent and would only serve to humiliate Bowling Green for that particular performance last Saturday against Temple. The next week, lose or win against Akron, we won't be there anymore.

Falcons avoid the bottom ten but make the waiting list :(

Our GMAC Bowl foe Memphis seems to have fallen harder than BG.
