There is a poll on that link that asks whether Leftwich isn't healthy yet, or if Del Rio prefers Garrard. 71.9% currently believe the latter.
Personally, I think it is time for Jacksonville to let go of Quinn Gray and start brooming their next QB.....Omar Jacobs.
I'm biased as all get-out, but I really think it would be a smart move for them. Omar has the arm strength, and it isn't like they would be opposed to his throwing mechanics since they are used to Leftwich. Furthermore, I think their offensive sceme would lend itself well toward Omar fitting in. They definitely have a strong running game, they just need somebody who can deliver the ball to their platoon of 6'4"+ recievers. If they had that, their offense would be rediculous. Obviously Garrard can't do it, and if Leftwich can't get it done it is time for them to go in a new direction.
Call me crazy, but I've been thinking this for a while now.
Go Falcons!
