No press is bad press? What if you're called horrible?

This is from pg 33 of the Sporting News 11/10/06
"Give some love to Temple. The Owls snapped a 20-game losing streak behind a stout defense, a thrill-a-minute offense and gutty special teams. So they did it against horrible Bowling Green--what difference does that make?"
I would have preferred "once-mighty" or "once-formidable" to "horrible" but it's hard to argue with horrible.
And TSN named WR Travis Shelton, Temple, as their Player of the Week for catching a TD pass and returning a kickoff 96 yards. "It was Temple's first victory in 21 games and sweet reveng for a brutal 70-7 loss at Bowling Green last season."
That's in the past! A nice three game win streak is now in order.
