I received this e-mail the other day:
"Support the Nov. 15 Falcon football game
As a BGSU graduate living in northwest Ohio, you have an opportunity to
make a difference for your alma mater. BGSU Athletic Director Greg
Christopher is asking alumni and friends who live in the area to attend
the Nov. 15 Falcon football game against the Miami University Redhawks.
The University needs to average 15,000 in paid home football attendance
this fall in order to meet the NCAA attendance requirement and to remain
eligible to compete in post-season bowl games.
With that in mind, the Toledo Area Alumni Chapter is changing its
original plans for the Watch Party. Instead of meeting at a Toledo area
location, the chapter is encouraging all area alumni to watch the game
in person at Doyt Perry Stadium. There will many fun opportunities
including a pre-game chili supper and various giveaways and promotions.
Attending the Nov. 15 game is the best way to help, Christopher says;
however, he also suggests that people who cannot attend the game may
purchase a block of tickets for use by their friends and families.
Another option is to donate a block of tickets to the Falcon Club for
use by area nonprofit organizations.
"This is an important time for Bowling Green football and we need the
entire Falcon family to come together," he says.

Ticket information is available there or by visiting the BGSU Athletics
