That is quite humorous."Meant For You:" If you noticed the "O" missing from the logo to the left, the Bottom 10 figured that since we haven't seen any semblance of an O in Columbus for quite some time ..."

when was the last time you saw Western pick up the "directional michigan title"? Its been a while.
PLus they base the bottom 10 off of what you are doing now, not always the whole season. The marathon losers are the top 1-3 or so. (read: UCF)

Power Sixteen
About Utah: "It would be fun to see what Alex Smith and the Utes could do in a BCS bowl game."
No it wouldn't... :duh:
No it wouldn't... :duh:
Even more sickening is the spRockets in the mid-major 6 pack.
"Tough week for the Rockets -- they scored just 31 points. Now they average just 37 points per game."
On the bright side, they only gave up 13, and are now only allowing 33.5 points per game.
I put no value in any "rankings" that aren't preceded by "AP" or "USA Today", but how can someone be that blind? It looks like with Marshall's departure, the media needed to find a new best friend in the MAC, and the lips are securely wrapped around Rocky the Phallus.

But they do belong there...every year...no matter how well they do!Schadenfreude wrote:FYI: The fifth spot in the ESPN bottom ten is reserved for teams that deserve the embarassment and mockery that goes along with the bottom ten, but don't actually belong there.
It's basically the inside joke, wildcard spot.

Schadenfreude: Yeah, I know. I just don't want too many people to get excited that OSU is in the Bottom 10.
TG: Toodaleedoo can be in any poll in the nation for all I care. In fact, I couldn't have cared less if they were undefeated. As long as BG comes out on the right side of the score when the two teams meet, all will be well in NW Ohio!

And on SportsCenter last night, Trev and Herbstriet were doing fact or fiction. The question, I think, was "Utah deserves a BCS bid". Herbstriet said, if they go undefeated, then fact. They have played decent teams (Texas A & M, North Carolina, ?) OOC and whipped them. T A&M is getting some attention now as they have only one loss, but that was to Utah and like 48-7. Trev, on the other hand, was practically laughing that Dan Patrick was even stupid enough to think this merited discussion. "It's the Mtn West, blah, blah, blah." Trev Albert is the narrowest minded, arrogant, always right pile of crap that is on TV these days. IMO1987alum wrote:BTW, did you hear Trev Albertsslap Utah Saturday? He basically said they didn't deserve to be in a BCS game even if they went undefeated. Nice comment on his opinion of the midmajors.
Alberts went on to talk about Louisville almost beating Miami in Miami last week. I could not understand his logic. I think he felt Louisville would be a better BCS Bowl team then Utahh simply because UL has played a top five team and played them close. WTF? Give Utah the same chance and maybe they win that game. But we will never know unless they are given a shot. Let the mid-majors play in a BCS bowl. If we get our butts kicked, then I will shut up. Once it is proven on the field, then I will believe it. Until then, Alberts can stick his "Every BCS league school is better every non-BCS school and stick up his

you should not call Trev closed minded. That is being too soft on his candy
. Trev Alberts is possibly, wait no, THE worst sports anylizer of all time. Even crazy old Madden makes more sense that this jabroni. Trev has said one this intelligent in his whole life. And that was when he said that Kyle Orton was the leading QB candidate for Heisman. He is wrong on at least 75% of his picks on saturday mornings, and the 25% he gets right is when top 15 teams play 1-AA opponents, with almost 0 chance of an upset. This is the guy that last year said NIU would go undefeater, moments b4 kickoff in the Doyt where we ended their season. HE is a guy that that they give so much credit to, that he is paired with Mark May, the 2nd worst sports caster there is. (assuming Steven A. Smith doesnt count) Trev should be depoted to ping-pong coverage and forced to drive a Pinto.
