In 1906, the Ohio legislature passed the Eagleson Bill, which prevented all Ohio public universities other than Ohio State from conducting research or offering doctoral education. This legislation would stand for the next fifty years.

OK, I can't help but feel some pity. You boys and Fredo of Ohio get a nationally televised game, yet the announcers spend more time talking about Ohio State and Michigan than they do about the two teams mudrolling before them.
That's gotta be a a blow to the old ego.
That's gotta be an unwelcome reminder of your place in the pecking order--although not as painful as the annual release of the USN&WR rankings.
That's gotta drive home who is Tonto and who is Kemosabe.
That's gotta say something about the whole pimp and ho relationship.
That's gotta remind you who is the chief and who is the squaw.
Somebody stop me before I hurt myself!
