No argument from me. I really want him to succeed. I do. But his performance is making it VERY tough for me to continue hoping.

He'll land on his feet, but we really need a different direction at this point. We lost to T-E-M-P-L-E and then we hand a second win to a team which hasn't been able to find it's collective @ss with both hands and help.

I don't know what to think. But this is what I know. We dominated the first half tonight. Miami has one win, playing on the road, weeknight, terrible weather, nothing to play for. They could have packed it in at half time real easy. But they took it to us in the second half. I can't help but think our coach's inability to make adjustments at halftime and coach for four quarters lead us to another defeat.

This game should not have come down to a freshman trying to kick from a pile of muck. We needed to score in the third qtr when we had the wind to put the redhawks on their heels and we had something like 8 yards of total
offense.

The kids played hard...I remember sitting in an empty student section back in 2000 watching guys like Chad Long, Brandon Hicks, Gibby and the Glantzis boys play hard too. We lost then because the coaches didn't know what to do with the talent they recruited. we lost tonight for similar reasons

We got beat at home by Toledo last year because the coaches didn't coach to win. We got beat tonight because the coaches didn't coach to win. I can understand wanting to play it close to keep an team like OSU from getting too far out in front, but this wasn't OSU, it was fricking Miami. get out there and go after them!!!

I hate Miami more than Toledo. This hurts. 1-9???? I think we will lose to the turds by 2 TD's. Half of our loses this year were not the players fault.

I'm just frustrated. Very depressing.

Does a goofy assed game on an ice rink really amount to the jenga piece that causes the fall of the Brandon tenure?

I've been critical of Brandon from the get go, but c'mon they would have had a better chance at running the offense at the ice arena than The Doyt tonight.

DD, I understand what you are saying and sort of agree. BUT, Miami played under the same conditions. Somebody still has to win the game no matter the conditions. We lost, thus we look for reasons beyond the horrible conditions.

The athletes at this level are essentially the same in the MAC...

Under the same conditions it comes down to two things...Game Planning and will. Where'd we lose?

Brandon said this was his worst loss as a coach at any level. I can think of a few others off the top of my head that have been as bad and even worse.

Than why did we look like the better team in the first half and the crappy one in the second.

The weather doesn't completely nuetralize the field.

How do you game plan for a game played in these conditions? Seeing as how at least two posters agreed that the athletes are essentially the same I think this game comes down to a lot of luck.

What should we have done different? Run a seam route in the 3rd quarter? What if it got picked off??

I am 60-40 to get rid of Brandon but a game like tonight is not one to add to the arsenal of reasons to fire him nor is it one to push you over the top to make you think he has no idea.

This game was a wash from the start.
