Some light on the Keon situation even...
"ROSTER REPORT: DB Keon Newson, who broke his thumb in the Ball State game, had surgery to repair the injury and a screw was put in to strengthen the repair. He is expected to play against Ohio this week with a heavy wrap. DB T.J. Carswell tweaked his hamstring in the rout of Ball State and was held out for second half as a precautionary measure, but he is expected to play at Ohio."
It must have been pretty bad if he had to get a screw in it. Even being heavy wrapped, I hope they don't over-play him and injure it worse than it already is. Hopefully our defense will come together 100% this game and tear OU up!!!
