Not sure where to post this........ here, hockey or freeforall......

Nicholas is on the warpath this morning. It seems his school (a parochial school) was relaxing the uniform policy today to allow you to wear colors for that other rivalary game that occurs tomorrow....... I not sure who plays.... some farm school here in Ohio against some Michigan school..... anyway.

Nicholas wants to wear his BG gear because of the really important rivalary games that occured this week and that will occur next week. BTW- Nicholas sez "Toledo Sucks."

I told him to wear his BG hockey jersey.....because BG is going to stomp on the pointy little heads of that farm school tonight...... and that might be enough of a connection.

Anyway..... gnashing and grinding of teeth.... Nicholas is wearing his BG hat and his Miami T-shirt (hoping the red/white is close enough). I wonder if the teacher will call me to tell me that Nicholas is out of the dress code. I hope so I can tell her that those pin-heads from Toledo are going down...... bitch.

Tech, my kids attend St. Al's here in Bowling Green. They, of course, have a dress code as well, but today is Spirit Day. Kids can wear OSU or UM shirts. But the note about Spirit Day specifically noted that it would be ok for kids to wear BG gear as well since we are playing them in hockey this weekend. Obviously, Toledo shirts were still forbidden.

Wearing a Toledo shirt would require either an intervention or an excorism.

A cashier in the food court at the Union is wearing a 2002 National Championship sweatshirt for another institution.

For the time I spent in BG city schools I wore orange and brown on every Friday before this game save the one year I wore black and gold for Iowa's trip to the rose bowl.

Nicholas made it home in one piece having worn his BG and Miami gear. I have not heard any of the stories yet, but I am sure I will get an earful once he's ready.

I heard way too many OH-IA chants for one night which was to be expected and because I wore my BG shirt out, I heard a few f**k BG's here and there but I survived. GO BG!!!!
