Yeah, I don't want him on my team. That Spring Game showed how bad he is

He's definitely no Phil Horvath.

NIU won the game, but I doubt many would pin the loss on anything O4 did in general.

Yup. Phil Horvath is no Garrett Wolfe.
(can you hear my teeth grind when I say that?)

Omar had nothing to do with our loss to NIU. He wasn't the one dropping the passes he threw when we kept going three-and-out......

Or the one tackling invisible football players. Omar was one of only a couple players that did not have his head in his ass that game.

one drive does not sum up an entire game, although that drive just sucked the life out of us. I think that was a snowball effect of other things that went wrong and we got down on ourselves and lost our will. As Brandon stated, that was a time when the coaches needed to coral the team and kick them back in gear. Offensively, we only put up 7 points in the entire first half and 17 points total. We are much more explosive than that showing. Twice we reached the red zone and ended up with a total of 3 points to show for it. This team is much better than that and this was not simply a defensive loss. Heck, the only team to put up fewer points against NIU was Central. Even UCF was able to give 'em 28 points. We may have been too conservative not knowing if Omar was capable of doing big things. Bottom line...it was a team loss.
