U[sic]T Etiquette

As a public service, everyone please post any recognized etiquette in dealing with the locals up there. This will ensure there are no cultural conflicts and lead to more enjoyment for the game for everyone.
One thing I remember is to make sure you speak slowly, calmly, and keep it to single syllable words.
Another one that comes to mind is that the prostitutes in the area do accept credit cards. Just don't ask where they 'swipe' it.

U[sic]T people will make cuts at you being a "farmer" and what-not even though it is they who worship cowbells.

Much of the population of Toledo can be distracted by a shiny object or brightly colored piece of ribbon. I make it a point to carry a few shiny nickels and some christmas bows whenever I'm in town. It makes dealing with the locals so much easier.

I'm always surprised at the number of BG fans that know this one.

Another tip for interacting with Toledo people. Don't waste your time arguing with them. They always just lose horribly and then change the subject. It's better to just toss a quarter behind them and run.

It's always funny to see BG fans ripping on the "locals" when a fair number of "locals" happen to be BG fans.

Apparently a fair number of "locals" know true football when they see then apparently. It's quite fun to see Toledo fans/students rip on their own school.

University of Toledo fans will never admit defeat was their fault. They will try to say "Our OC is awful" or "We just suck this year, but what about last year?!"
