Deuce crew

The Toledo-Bowling Green game will be televised on ESPN2. Calling the action will be Mark May (play by play), Lou Holtz (color), Reece Davis (color) and Rob Stone (sideline)

They have to provide actual game coverage better than the UT-BSU crew or the BG-MU crew. Now that that one game is over, maybe the MAC and BG will get some air time on the audio side of things.

Go BG!

Weren't these four the same bozos that did the Michigan-Ohio State pre-game show last week?

It's the same crew. But I think there's a misprint. Davis is probably the play by play guy, and May the color man. (Is it offensive to call May the color man?)

There will be more talk of LSU-Arkansas, and the BCS standings and rematch pros and cons than there will be about either team on the field or the MAC landscape.

I'm definately MUCH happier with the coverage this week, as opposed to the garbage they fed us last week. Maybe they took into account all of the angry emails that they got regarding the OSU-UM pregame show the aired last week. Great job this week!

With everything from Fat boy's dead animals in his office story to Bruce's phone interview, it seemed to me they were doing a recruiting job for Toledo. They never talked about BG or Brandon at all.

It was a game at Toledo and right now besides us building the SEBO what is there to brag about when talking about our program?

If this effort was MUCH better than last week, it must have been a billion times more brutal than anyone here let on. ESPN goes through the motions with these games, pats the little ol' MAC on the head and moves on. Between the three series phone call with Charlie Weis and the giggle fest with the secretary, among other items, I was steamed. Yeah, it was a three score game at some points, but it was (crappy) from the get-go. The misinformation, mispronounced names and general f'edupedness off the top was ridiculous. I'll give them the interview with Gradkowski, at least that was relevant to half the fanbase watching...but at least chime in with something that may or may not be happening on the field!

On top of that, there was no flavor about the rivalry AT ALL. For as many times as they showed the peace pipe... TELL THE FREAKING STORY BEHIND IT!!! "This rivalry goes back 40 years!" Um, try almost 90, Rece... and stop trying to be cute and get your facts straight.

What a bunch of rejects. :x

At one point going into the 4th quarter they came back and Holtz must not have realized it. Under his breath you could hear him say...."Is this game go 5 quarters?"

I've seen him a few times this football season and had not really noticed. But last night Lou Holtz must've taken the good rug to the dry cleaner and was left sporting his emergency back-up piece.

Go BG!
