I know we have ALOT of starters returning, I'm sure they'll utilize Sebo when its done in a few months, and I know this team will be vastly improved next season but:
3rd Quarter
3rd & Long - WR Screen, Near Side, to Freddie Barnes, 8-10 yard gain.
4th & Short - WR Screen, to Near Side, to Freddie Barnes, 2 Yard Loss

IMPRESSIVE Playcalling.
Seriously, I've seen better plays watching Sorority Flag Football.

I'm going to buy Brandon a dang stop watch for Christmas. Do we have any clue that maybe it's not in our interest to run the play clock down to 4 or 5 each play... Watching our offense is kind of like going to the dentist!!!! :x

I still find it AMAZING that we didn't want Opelt, because he "wasn't tall enough", but he was sure as hell good enough as a true freshman and "local" kid to beat our ass tonight!
I have the feeling it will happen a few more times before he leaves UT too!

Where do we go next? Hopefully to the AD's office to lobby for an immediate coaching change. That of course is after the trip to the liqour store.

Wow...we've lost five in a row and we are 7-13 over our last 20. I majored in English...but I think that's a .350 winning percentage

I'd like to think we can turn it around next year, but we are going to have to make some serious changes to do so. Does Studrawa come back? we know Brandon will be back (unless he resigns or something.) but what about the assistants?

Clean House.
Fumigate.
Burn House down.
Build new, better House.

7-13 is one thing. 7-13 against a pathetic conference is another. I think it's pretty obvious now that the 2003 success, and the diminishing success in 2004, was just carryover from the (gulp) meyer era and attitude.

I have no doubt we were one of the ten worst football teams in the country this season. And we were in the top 25 3 or 4 straight years ending just two years ago. It takes some spectacular incompetence to wreck a program that quickly. Way to go, Gregg.
