Congratulations to Corey for his record-tying night. He was the only one on the offensive side of the ball that looked like he gave a crap. Hopefully, some of his attitude can rub off on his teammates before next season.
Hell of a boy you raised there, Spart. Thanks from all of us.

The only player that wanted to play this evening, great effort.

When Jimmy Johnson first became the coach at the Dolphins he said that all of the roster spots were open. I beleive they still had Marino at the time. During training camp there was a college free agent who still plays who was so active on special teams that it prompted JJ to say that that player, Larry izzo, was number one, the first player to make the squad and be guaranteed a spot. Corey Partridge tonight was our Izzo. He can be the centerpiece of a team that wins a lot of games with hard work and heart. He catches everything his way(with his hands) and he takes every hit that comes his way. He is number one. (ANd ironically #1)

If you think about our 3 scoring drives we probably would have been shutout without him out there. This is the player we all thought he would be after the Wisconsin game in 2005. He is a stud.

As I kept saying to my father all night, "but for the grace of Corey Partridge." Spart, your son is an unbelievable talent and I was so happy that he finally got the chance to show what he is capable of tonight. It has been a long time coming, but boy was it one heck of a breakout party!
Congrats Corey!

He's a tough and talented football player. It speaks volumes for where we are right now that a tough and talented player stands out so badly.
Damn...in 2004 we had Sharon, Sanders, Magner, Cmac and Hawk. No we have Corey and....and...

The popcorn vender in the fifth row has pretty good hands. I think we went to him too much tonight though -- I saw some fans double covering him in the second half.

We tried to remind the Rocket D that Prtridge seemed to be an increasingly popular choice as a target for passes as the game progressed. Of course being from UT they didn't understand until we started to yell "somebody cover that little !23$#22$" And then they still couldn't do it. He ahd a great game.

Corey will make a catch others drop. Simple as that. He is the only "go to" guy on the offensive side of the ball. Congrats Corey on a record night.

you are ignoring both Bullock and Barnes...both have been just that at times this year.

He's one of the only players on the current squad who would have seen the field during those years offensively or defensively.
He's all heart and reminds me of a young Kurt Gerling. He will be the central figure in the rebuilding of this team.

Taking nothing away from Corey...but are you serious with that comment?
KB had some drops, but he put two balls into the endzone.
Devon also had a pretty good game.
No doubt Corey stood out last night, but don't discount the contributions of others...

Corey's a heck of a player. Brandon raved about having him for 2 more seasons in the post game presser.

I hate what that implies
