Goodbye Coach Brandon, hello Rush Propst

Rush Propst, coach of the Hoover High Bucs of Hoover Alabama, and star of MTV's "Two a Days" would be a great fit for Bowling Green. He KNOWS how to win, and his southren flair would be a big draw for the students. Plus I think he could beat up Tom Amstutz in a fight, something I dont think GB could do.
Coach Propst’s overall record at Hoover High School is 91-8. In 1999 Coach Propst became the head football coach of Hoover High School. Since becoming the head football coach at Hoover, the Bucs have won five out of six state championships (2000, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005). In 2001 the Bucs were the 6A State Championship Runners-up and 6A region champions. Food for thought.

Okay, you/we/one/whoever can be displeased with Gregg Brandon's performance, but we have written word from the AD, via one of our own, that there are no plans for him not to be the coach next year. I think we can stop with the "we should hire this guy" threads already.

you obviously haven't watched "Two A Days". You haven't witnessed the pure greatness of Rush Propst. Shame on You for making ignorant statements.

Sunshine, he ain't the ignorant one. Maybe we can get MTV to come to Bowling Green and kick off their show "Pimp My Coach." I bet if we just got Brandon some bling everything would turn around! Shame on you for being so shortsighted!

It has nothing to do with how good some high school coach comes across on a reality show. It has everything to do with us not looking for a coach and threads like these getting tiresome. And ignorant.

Just take one look at this kid's signature line and you can see a large flaw in understanding of the game.

Yes...these hire this guy threads are dumb...maybe I'll just lock them as they arise.
Hmmmm....perhaps the "mod squad" and Grant should ponder that idea

OK by me, especially since the AD has already emailed someone to say that Coach Brandon is staying.

Not to fuel the fire or anything. But I have been to a Hoover football game and there was at least 13,000 to 15,000 people attending game.

Unless they are all moving to Bowling Green... What is THAT?
Whoa! Two years ago everyone was freakin' when he talked to UNLV. Now you want to run him out of town for the Suvivor guy? Whoa!
GB is going to be fine.
