Saw this morning that since Boise State has made it to a BCS game, the MAC and 4 other D-1A non-BCS confrences will recieve $18M to split. That is double whay would normally be made.
Let's take that additional $$ and do two things with it:
1-Install field turf at the Doyt
2-Put any left over $ into a holding account until 2008 and then give the $ to the new head-coach.
That comes out to roughly $300K per school. Nice, but not exactly the windfall the big boys will pull down. (Don't have the exact numbers, but the Big 10 and SEC should pull in $35-40 million each for having two BCS teams.)

You posted a larger version of that avatar photo anywhere?

Yeah, I hear ya. I just used it as a chance to groan over how much cash is thrown at the big boys and tipping the scales of competitive balance well off center.

MACMAN, you really, really, REALLY need to lighten up. Get angry about everything all the time isn't good for your blood pressure.
