Overall I was really impressed with this game.

1. First and foremost, Omar to Steve Sanders... wow. This will be the hook-up this year and next! I love how much both players have stepped it up this season.

2. Only 1 penalty for 5 yards the enitre game! This is encouraging!

3. Good crowd coming down from BG! Not many students, but still a good crowd none the less!

4. The effiency of our offense. Great on third downs and just moving the ball effectivly. There were many long drives too.

5. Great brats Freak!! I also love how when i'm walking up, the younger freakling comes up and asks "Are we going to beat the 'bobkitties'"? Awesome stuff!

The only thing that disappointed me is our run game. But if we're moving the ball so well passing I guess it's not that big of a deal. Heck of a game Falcons!!

We played great, take away OU's special teams and we are 34-3 after three. And how about Suisham? I could have sworn when it left his foot that it was going land in the middle of the EZ. I must have passed over the crossbar by 6 inches. I was surrounded by OU fans, probably not a BG fan within 100 ft. They were all going awww shXT and everything and else and I jumped up like that typical ass. It was great.

last year, I was as critical of Suisham as anyone, so I will take my medicine. He has been absolutely money this year, on FGs and kickoffs. That FG was fantastic--he did have a slight tail wind, which accounts for the carry you perceived, but it was a great effort, and a good lift for the team.

We don't get many students that come to home games so I wouldn't expect many traveling to Athens for a game :D It was nice to meet you though ziggy and I hope the students that were there (myself included) were loud enough for you!!

Oh, we also had a OU Police officer come up to us after the game and tell us that the small group I was standing with was louder than the entire OU student section. He was right down in front of the wall between us about 80% of the game so he would definitely know! Go Falcons!!!

I had my hands up in field goal position when it crossed the 30. I knew it wasn't going over by much but I could tell it had the distance for sure :P

Did you notice how the place literally gets 10x louder for the band. That is cool and all but at least show your own players the same respect. I would be so dissapointed to be in the locker room and hear all that cheering and come out to see half the folks have left because the Band is gone. I thought there band was good but I think that is slap to the players face that that crowd never got nearly that loud at any point of the game. Thats my opinion at least.

I disagree, the band is horrible! Read below if you would like to understand why I said this. Somewhere around the drumline quote it should all make sense...

IMO you did not miss all that great of a game. Yes we won easily and that is the most important thing. However, it really was not that exciting of a game to me. OU may have the least entertaining offense in football. Take away the 4th quarter and they did squat. It was just one of those games where you knew it was never in doubt and the team knew it to. It's not too often that the starting qb sits with a whole quarter left when you are up 34-9. Maybe on the next possession. OU just has no go to guy.

To me, away games are amazing! I get to toss the trumpet aside and be a fan for once. We could be on the road at a division II school and I would be as excited as ever. Falcon Football is truly a great thing!!! :D

I love the road games, I love the atmosphere of them. There's nothing better than walking into a hostile environment and walking out with a convincing W, and then of course walking around campus hearing all kinds of jeers. Ah good times!
