I love the whole team looking to the sidelines. It shows they are all on the same page. As for suckowski being better than Omar, I guess we can wait til 11/23 to prove him wrong.

This is coming from a player who looked like he was playing HS football out there. How many yards did we have after 3 quarters. And we even dropped some long passes. Knorr has rubbed off on them. Hmm Toledo beat them 31-13 at home. Be beat them 41-16 on the road pretty much all by the pass. How is noGrad better? Like you said metz, it'll be settled on 11/23. When you look at these tow guys stats there is no way you can one is more than a hair better then the other right now. Third best qb they have faced this year

So I guess you cannot change your D too? That is one of the dunbest things I have ever heard. Blitz, stunt, change things up? OU still has a high school gameplan, they can't change plays and it seems that their players think it is unfair that other teams do it.

They rather stand and watch BG call plays. I think it amazed them to see a team working together like that. Maybe they should try it...

Actually, his point is right on. You line up, you see how the D lines up and your Ocoordinator reads the D and signals in an audible rather than letting the QB manage the O. It's micromanaging to the nth degree, but if it works for you, why not. That's not a slam, that's the truth.

What it does is take much of the reading and thinking out of your players' hands. It can certainly be argued that it is a good thing to do. It's certainly different than having Jim Kelly call all his own plays.

You've missed the kid's point. Of course the coaches call in the plays the large majority of the time. What BG does is wait until both teams call their plays and come to the line and then change the play call. The coaches are calling the audible, not the QB. It does take a good bit of the analysis of the D away from the players. Again - maybe that's a good thing, especially with a QB starting his first year. It's probably even a good thing with veterans - the coaches have a hell of a lot more time during the week for analysis and gameplanning than the 20 hours the players are alotted.

I'm not so sure about the kid's comment about Bruce and Omar. I was impressed by Omar, but I'd like to see BG both throw more downfield and get Omar running the ball more often. I'd also be more impressed by Bruce if they threw more than 3 passes over 8 yards downfield a game.

I got that. I was reacting to the Jim Kelly reference in your post.

I do see the point. You still have to execute. A couple times OU had the right play called and overthrew the wide open receiver.

Knorr said on the post game that Bowling Green was the best team the Bobcats have faced all year. He has already seen Marshall and Toledo up close.

Huskie Dan.......I think in the future, you will see Omar run the ball a lot more, and we are already throwing the ball downfield alot more than we did early in the season. You see, we are redshirting Omar's backup ( a freshman) and we don't really want to get Omar hurt running the ball alot, without a STRONG backup, if we don't have to, and so far, that has been the case. Just remember the name Anthony Turner.
