Saw this one on ebay and was wondering when this post card picture would have been taken. Any guesses? Which direction was this picture taken? Just curious.

If this isn't an artist's rendering of the facility that is planned to replace the Doyt then its the old stadium that sat in the middle of campus until the late 60s. I gave Grant some video of it that he posted here awhile back. And I know that video will be returned any day now, right Grant? :-D
Can't help with direction -only saw the one game there where I shot the 8mm film.

That is the old football stadium (you can see a portion of the Eppler Complex). Currently the College of Education and Human Development is in one end zone, the College of Business Administration and Memorial Hall along the north sideline, the Carillion (bell tower) stands where the 50 yard line was located, and Jerome Library is down at the other end zone.

I've seen that postcard a number of times. Looks to be some kind of color scetch done over a B and W photo. You can find that postcard in most BG-local antique stores for less than the auction is starting at.

Interestingly, I had an old Navy vet from the V-5 program at my seminar an hour ago. Fun to chat with. Curiously still, a retired Lt. Cmdr from the Jag corps. (non-BG alum) was also there, and both were a little excited to learn BGSU was playing Navy next fall.

Odd triva: the general capacity of BGSU's football facilities prior to DLP Stadium happens to be the historic average attendance for Falcon Football.
