According to that page, BGSU leads the MAC in fewest home games to date with 2.

YEAH BGSU!

I think one of the most impressive stats in the bunch is that we have the fewest sacks allowed with 3. What a tribute to both O4 and the O-line. The second best team in sacks allowed going into this week was NIU with seven.

I think it was pretty impressive that we were able to start the season 5-2 with 5 of the first 7 games on the road. We had one bad game on the road. Who doesn't?

Joe Novak said that on film it was obvious that BG's QBs don't get sacked, so we didn't try to blitz. It appears to be mostly due to quick drops and getting rid of the ball. Obviously the Oline and the quick release are also part of the equation, but NIU didn't try very hard to even get to him.

I'm particularly impressed by NIU's total because we have a lot more rollouts and longer drops that are more conducive to allowing sacks, yet our OL has done pretty well to keep our QBs clean.
