Didn't we need to get 22,000 for the Miami game just to get our average to 15,000? And now they show we averaged 19,500. I guess our attendance figures have been a mystery all year, no need to change now.

Calling Ohio Bobcat, always talking crap about our home attendance and look who is 3 spots below us. By all means we have no room to brag but you have every reason to shut up.

Bowling Green* 19,528 97,642 5
Western Michigan 18,625 93,124 5
Kent State 17,004 85,018 5
Ohio 16,724 83.622 5

I think the figures quoted in the piece are the "announced" attendance, which we should all know by now is the largest of the three possible attendance numbers (announced, paid, actual).

(I'm not saying it that way to be a jerk. I just mean we spent pages and pages here posting questions about how attendance is counted until we reached the conclusion there is really three different ways to count.)

It's cool to look at all these numbers, I'm just glad everyone made the cut. I don't really care what the rules are for making it, as long as we are making it! :D

If you think about it, those numbers are pretty pathetic for D-1 football. I'm very happy to not be on probation, but I am ashamed of the fact that there isn't a single school in the conference that can sell out more than one (if any) game a year. All of our Universities need to pull their heads out of their AZZs and get this sh!t taken care of.

Tis the life of a mid major my friend. About the only way for any team in this conference to consistently sell out is do what Utah did a couple of years ago, or what Boise did this year, and then keep that level of success up for several years.

Just continue to bring your kids, bring your friends, bring your friends kids, whatever. We just need to drag new people along to show them what a nice time it is. Then eat Myles pizza.

I have trouble contributing to the cause because of marching band. I still try to get all my friends to go and I invite my parents to every game. I send flyers around my dorm, I leave messages on doors. I might have to just set up tables and displays in or in front of the union to get people to start going here pretty soon.

The amount of time don't mean anything, falconboy hasn't made it to a game before half time since...I'm not sure he's ever been to a game before half time.
