this is my idea for the south endzone. made it while waiting for class so its kinda rushed and keep in mind im no architect. but anyway, it could serve as the alum area and a stage now that fieldturf is goin down.
what do ya all think?

The 1st picture sucks. However, the 2nd one is fantastic!

This was always my idea:
But I think I'm alone, here.

Two words... "Insurance Nightmare" also it doesn't look ADA compliant.

I'm with Schad -- maybe those ears of corn can count in the attendance figures?

Ethanol? I don't get it
It would be scarier if Omar Jacobs was peering out of there...

Something tells me it wouldn't look quite like that in the fall.
Can they make corn out of field turf?

no... but I wouldnt bet against them making field turf out of corn!
Of course corn ethanol is a losing proposition as you expend more energy growing/harvesting/and processing it then you get from it!

i realize my first crack at an endzone idea wasnt too hot, so i redid it. this one would be not only cheap, but it looks good i think
its pretty simple...bleachers but with a wall the height of the one that connects the stands to the sebo connecting the bleachers. the dark spot between the uprights is an audience tunnel to get in. what do ya think?

Not bad. I think you'll need two tunnels for fans though. Also, might need to think of where to put the Falcon Club tent. Possibly under the stands with another concession/merchandise area?

i was thinking that, or roping off those corners on the left and right of the bleachers and making a falcon club patio of sorts...sitting on the field...that'd be a benefit for your membership dollar

What do you need the seating for? It all honesty any money spent on endzone seating is wasted on other necessary upgrades to the Doyt.
Its nice to think about... but in reality, with crumbling concrete, leaky facilities, outdated pressbox... all monies should be spent on having at least one side of the Doyt torn down... rebuilt with a steeper pitch... built higher to accomodate 16-17K fans plus a three level press box with suites adn the president's club.
