The cannon!!!
The cannon!!!
I love when they fire that thing off after a BG score. Watching my mom jump out of her seat every time BG scored against Ball State was priceless! It only took her about six BG touchdowns to finally catch on as to when it was coming again!
GO BG!!!

Those rings are tight! I'd love if they did a double shot where the get the ring and then a football or Falcon to fly through itBGSUfanatUT wrote:they do it at the glass bowl as well. its one of the social frats that does it. its pretty small and jsut makes noice, no cool rings like our ROTC cannon leave.

The only thing the princess hated more than the cannon was the Sic-Sic guy in the pig mask.1987alum wrote:I have to say that is the one thing that Noah didn't like about our trip to BG last year. He was relieved when he found out there would be no cannon at the MCB.

That would be awesome. To have it do it's own screech would be cool too while it's flying through. We could mic it and get rid of the one they play now!!BGSUfanatUT wrote:how smooth would it be to train a real falcon to do that? Miami's entrance can eat my shorts!

Speaking of those busses...from my vantage point at the BSU game which was obscured by the one tree on campus all I could read on the bus was "ILLINI SWALLOW" which I chuckled atFlipper wrote:Flipperella hates the cannon and the busses that are parked by the visitors lockers. I read on ESPN a few weeks ago, I think it was Gene Wojochowski (sp? ), was suggesteing the cannon thing should be banned from games. Is it a good idea having explosives used around so many people? I understand his point and for the most part agree. The cannon really doesn't add anything to the game experience, so for safety's sake, I would prefer it to go away as well.
