If we pack the house and sell out

If we pack the house on Saturday and sell out the Doyt and you keep your ticket stubb, or show me proof that you paid to get in, I will reimburse you for your ticket. I will pay you back what you paid for your ticket, but the game needs to be a sellout of at least 25,000. Coach Brandon on the radio said he wanted 30,000 there for the game on Sat. but if the game is sold out, I will reimburse you for your ticket. No joke!

I'd bet a nickel we don't sell out. Maybe that makes me a pessimist, but I think that's reality.

I'd be careful there, 1972. Did you see the latest weather forecast? Sunny and 67 for a high Saturday. The Buckeyes play at 12:30 so people won't be staying home to watch them. Not saying we will sell out, but a crowd of 25,000 should not be unexpected.

Do you really think 25,000 is within reach?
Last year, we hit 25,000 twice - the big Gameday matchup with Northern Illinois (31,007) and the annual friendly picnic with the phallic symbols from up north (29,724).
Our other home game totals ... 20,629; 13,096; 15,669; 12,035
So take out the two "B!G" games and we averaged a bit more than 15,350.
I'd like to think we could hit 20K, but 25,000? Boy, that seems like a reach...

Well we got 23k for SEMO and they are as bad as they come on our schedule. I really think we could have had over 25k at homecoming if the weekend was nicer. I personally know a handful of people who tailgated and did not go to the game because of the weather. If the weather hold I say 24,304

Wait a minute... did I tailgate with you? *laugh* We went into the game late, thanks to some ticket confusion, but there were a bunch around us that I don't think went into the game at all.

If the weather is nice, all day before the game and during the game, we've got a chance at a very nice crowd. If it's anything like the Ball State game, forget it.

If we draw less than 20,000, I'll eat a bug

Yes I do. We had 23,000 for SEMO for crying out loud. If any real fan looks at the records, you will see that EMU is also 3-1 in the MAC just like us. There is potential for this to be a very entertaining, and important game. And as I said earlier, nice weather and not up against the Buckeyes. Don't forget it is "Take a Kid to the game" night also. They get a free GA ticket to the game. Oh yea, no Toledo game on Saturday either so general football fans in the area will have no other place to turn for a fix. If I keep going, I just might talk myself into a sell out!

I hope you all are correct. There are some sound arguments for a big crowd. Let's hope it all comes to fruition.

With the weather looking awesome, I can see 24,000 easily. The walk up crowd will be the key.
The Freaklings are going to Grandma's to T or T at 2 so we won't be hitting town until at least 4:30. Not much TGing for the Freak this week!
Not to fear, I will have a 6 pack inside my brand new Falcon logo cooler bag, courtesy of Falcon Fanatic!! THANKS AGAIN...I love it!

Exactly. The diehards will be there rain, wind or shine. The walk-ups will be there if the weather is nice. Let's hope the weather is nice.
