Looks like BSU/BGSU is off.

Coach Petersen just talked about it on a local radio show.
Maybe sometime in the near future our teams will meet up again. Best of luck with your season. I hope you take the MAC.

What's Western Kentucky doing on 9/29?

Do they allow intra-division games with Findlay anymore?

Damn. I knew it seemed too good to be true when we thought we had Boise State coming here. I can't wait to see who we find as a replacement.

I hope Chryst used Kentucky Jelly. I really don't care what the final score could have been. This game was to be a sell-out.

Yep...I don't want to hear any crying when November rolls around and we need to rig the attendance numbers again. Navy and Boise State were two safe bets to sell out or come close to it....

Is the MAC cutting BG a check for the lost paid attendance?

If we are close to missing our attendance mark the MAC office should buy every available ticket since they have helped make this mess. I'm really not ready to blame this on the AD and throw him under the bus. Some of this may have been in the works before he arrived on campus. If this happens next year, I will DRIVE the bus.

Not trying to fire anyone up, and I have been on this board for several years now so, I pretty much know all the regulars response, however this really pisses me off, because BG year in and year out have crappy home games. I think BG would have more to gain by being in CUSA then the MAC. I love BG as much as anyone, but I am so sick of the directionals, find zero interest in Buffalo, Ball State, and now Temple. I buy season tickets every year + paid $200 extra to help with attendance and I find it really difficult to get motivated to drive 2 hours on a crappy weather Sat. to watch my favorite team play SEMO and the same old boring teams listed above. I like NIU but I have to wait every 3 years to see them at home? I want to see BG play different schools at home. For this reason I'm tired of the MAC. In fact over the last 10 years, if it wasn't for Myles pizza, I may not have gone to 1/3 of the games I did. I am sick of our crappy home games.
At least Marshall gets to treat it's fans to different teams.

Is it time for me to bring out my annual "Conference USA-MAC merger plan"?

You have a plan?
Someone has a plan!
Lets hear "the plan"!

Maybe they can call it MAC Conference USA, so Lou Holtz and the other announcers who can't get it right won't look as stupid anymore.

CUSA sucks. Somebody goes and makes some claim we would be better off there, and as Marshall is so clearly pointing out, its not so great.
We areN'T Marshall.
