March 12th? This is wonderful news. To quote the vernacular, just t*ts.
No problem. I think I'll just go away and read the Lord of Rings. Then, maybe Tolstoy - you know, War and Peace, and then Anna Karenina. In case I finish them too soon, I'll get the Russian editions. After the 7th, maybe I'll translate Virgil's epic, Aeneid, and if there's time after that the complete works of Shakespeare.

Saturday's Sentinel-Tribune also ran a brief about the MAC schedule being released the week of 3/12. A few extra bits of information were included though. BG's conference schedule is expected to have home games with Ohio, Akron, Toledo, and Northern Illinois and road games at Miami, Kent, Buffalo, and Eastern. No Temple on our schedule.
Also, our four non-conference games are expected to come from a pool of seven teams -- Minnesota, Indiana, Michigan State, Boston College, Pittsburgh, Boise State and Western Kentucky. Pool of teams? That language sure makes it sound like the MAC office has taken over scheduling and took everyones OOC contracts and will divide them up as they see fit. I'll say this now: If we end up with just one home OOC game and it is WKU and another MAC school gets to host Boise St, I am gonna blow a gasket. I will demand Christopher's immediate resignation as AD.

So....at Minnesota, Michigan State and Boston College. Home against Western Kentucky. Temple is in the east, but they don't play us?
On the plus side...if we do play at EMU, it will be a shorter drive for me to get to that game than the home games

Didn't this already happen? Or am I getting my demands for resignation confused around here?

BSU hasn't fully released their schedule yet, but BG is still listed on the website, which has been updated recently.
If BSU falls through, hosting Indiana, while not equal in talent to Boise, wouldn't be a "bad" trade-off, at least its a big10 team coming to the doyt. (of course thats hoping, we do get on OOC game scheduled at home)

Patience, FF. Really, its the 4th March... ALREADY!
OK, just in case anyone's in danger of yawning themselves to death waiting for the MAC to announce the 2007 football schedule during the (yawn) week of (yawn) the 12th of this month (we hope), what song do these pertinent lyrics belong to? Answers on the back of an air mail postage stamp, poste restante Mombasa, please..
"Magically bored
On a quiet street corner
Free frustration
In our minds and our toes
Quiet stormwater
M-m-my generation"
"I'm out of my brain on the 5:15
out of my brain
on the train
Hint: the answer is too obvious to warrant a hint.
Meanwhile, I'm signing up at Udate.

The Who....5:15...I love that song.
"Why should I care"...I think that's what Greg Christopher says when he's asked if the MAC is done with our schedule

Well done Flipper - correct!
You have also correctly answered the next question I was going to ask, which saves me having to ask the question. This entitles you to a whole dollar bill, if you can find anyone on this board willing to give you one.
Well, what a rave that was. Maybe we can do it again if there's time before the schedule's announced!

Last I saw on Boise's page had them coming here Sept 29. Friggin sweet!
