BGSU Leads MAC in 10-Class Graduation Rate

Former BGSU student-athletes who received athletic aid, entered the University from 1988-89 thru 1997-1998, and exhausted their eligibility achieved a 93% graduation rate according to latest figures released by the NCAA. The total, which represented 401 student athletes, is the highest in the Mid-American Conference.
"I am very proud that our scholarship athletes recognized the opportunity they had and took advantage of it," said BGSU Athletics Director Paul Krebs. "Historically, the entire academic community at BGSU and our department have worked well to help young men and women juggle the demands of obtaining a quality education and competing at the Division I level."
BGSU was joined by Miami (92%), Ohio (92%) and Western Michigan (92%) as MAC school's who had a similar graduation rate above 90% in the MAC.
