Because if it were that Def Leopard is horrible, and not that our football schedule sucks, it is worth noting that our football schedule does suck.

I met Def Leopard's drummer's girlfriend at a party in Liverpool once. DL may suck, but she was well tidy. Actually, although I live in the boonies, you'd be surprised how well connected my tiny little hometown of Ruthin is:

- John Lennon's first son, Julian, grew up in Ruthin. One of my first ever car accidents was a minor, uh, brush with Cynthia, John's "one before Yoko"

- Elton John's parents are from Ruthin. Elton never comes to town, though. Dad disowned Elton when Elton graduated from the Royal Academy and said grand pianos are for playing rock, stupid. They never spoke again.
