3-0 1st quarter... helped by a roughing the kicker call, but stalling inside the NIU 10 and settling for 3 with the first possession of the game...

am I alone here??

our friend Garrett Wolfe goes around the end for six. 7-3 NIU under 2 mins. left in the 1st quarter...

NIU goes 70-some yards to a wide open Dan Sheldon... 14-3 very early in the second, and I think the fat lady is going back for more tailgating...

I'm watching the game at work. Possibly the ONLY benefit of living in Indiana so far.

unfortunately, its the NIU broadcast, so their exuberance makes me mad.

Ball State loses.

I thought they had first and goal at the 1 1/2, but I guess they were just short. Lost a couple yards on 3rd down, and two receivers knocked each other off the potential tying TD.

NIU escapes ANOTHER one on the road against an inferior team.

Where's that smilie of the guy banging his head against the wall?

Hell even if NIU pulls it off there should be a clause that if you go to OT against a team with 1 win then you can't win the division. Seriously, that is horrible, I don't care if its in ball State, we beat them by 38 points and so if NIU wins in OT they should have to forfeit a chance to win the division

hehe. Would be nice huh, I am just hoping NIU loses and then Toledo beats them and then we stomp Toledo and win teh division. Even if we don't win the division/MAC I think we could get a bowl game because we would be 9-2 and the best team in the East would have 4 losses.

It sucks but NIU won.

It makes me sick to think that Ball State, UCF and Southern Illinois battled NIU harder than BG did. ::puke::

yeah thats ok though we have a star QB who is probably doing the best on paper of ALL QB's nationally and we have him for 2 more years.....I can't wait to watch us destroy NIU in our house next year.
