Season tickets?

Post by Tricky_Falcon »

I know it's not even summer yet but when do people usually start getting information about season tickets?

I recently signed up for the Falcon Club and this will be my first year buying season tickets. At my old job I was working every weekend so I could never make it to a game. At my new job I have weekends off. I have already recruited my dad to go to the games with me. So there will be two new season ticket holders at the Doyt this fall!

The home schedule isn't very attractive but hopefully we'll have a lot of people out at the Doyt to see the new Sebo Athletic Center and most importantly Falcon football!

I've never bought season tickets, I usually just buy them at the gate or find somebody with extras. I just wanted to let you know to make sure and come out for the tailgate with the group. Every game we have a TON of food and a lot of people out there talking football, drinking beer, and eating good.

Thanks Hammb. I'm certain we'll make our way over there a few times this season. Unlike Snakeman we might even bring something. The food forum has offered some good ideas.

Last year was my first year for season tickets. I think season tickets went on sale right about now, so be on the lookout for an announcement. I think it was right around the Spring game, which is in 20 days.

And by the way, nobody invited me to any tailgating!!!! And I'm always hungry!!

Nothing on there about UT tickets being higher. That's an interesting change from years past.

I think that's the first time the tickets in the better locations cost more. Maybe I'm wrong. Either way, fine by me.

Thanks PGY. It must have been an old link that the Columbus Alumni Association sent me.

Yeah, better buy the tickets now before they figure out that mistake.

Looking over the tickets, it appears to me that they are making more of an attempt to attract people to games (meet attendance requirements) then make more money on games (i.e. not raising toledo/marquee game prices). They have a special walk-up deal for games, and bench seats are cheaper than last year as well (I'd bet this allows them to offer cheaper deals than last year also).

You are definitely welcome at the tailgate. There is an open invitation extended to all board members, and all of their friends & family as well :)

No, you're not. You bring sh*tty weather to tailgates.

Can't wait to get back out to the lots for the Spring Game tailgate. Beer, food, football, falcon fans, good times. Just 3 weeks away!!!
